Teaching Notes
Because of Intellectual Property copyright law we are allowed to make video tutorials/audio recordings on only one third of the syllabus, since the syllabus itself is considered "Intellectual Property"
However there will be teaching notes, written by myself (or in collaboration with other trusted quality Channels) on the pieces based on my own teaching experience and these will appear alongside the titles listed above. All teaching notes will contain references to a video, whether on the MusicOnline UK YouTube channel or another, which is deemed to be of good performance quality. (You will find NO Alan Chan here)
Updated 23/09/2019
I like "you will find NO Alan Chan here". From the very first day he published his video, I already warn my students never never learn the way he play. I'm so grateful that now we have music online which perform and teach professionally. Thank you so much. Hope to see more higher grade pieces coming out soon.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your support. The best way we can re-educate students to learn correctly is to share quality content with them. I'm sure you already do this with your students. Regarding the higher grade pieces, yes they are on the way, but as we discussed, here you will find quality, not mass produced quantity, which takes "longer than three days to upload the entire ABRSM syllabus" just to get "1st in search". Your patience and support is appreciated, were there any particular pieces you were waiting for?
DeleteGrade 6 A3 (Allegro).
ReplyDeleteWhat if I play sort of rubato in bar 66?
A slight leaning on the 3rd beat? It could work, but ever so slight as the brilliance of the Allegro tempo would need to come through.

ReplyDeletePlease.
Really value your tutorials so sad this one is missing.
